M2005-176

CLERK’S BUSINESS

Amendment of 2005 Appropriation Resolution

th
On April 4 of this year, the Trustees approved applying for the Public Assistance Grant
Program through FEMA for the snowstorm of December 22, 2004. The Township received a
check for $53,402 in May for the FEMA reimbursement. However, since the Township’s 2005
Appropriation Resolution was prepared and approved prior to both the snowstorm and the
request for FEMA funds, the 2005 Appropriation Resolution needs to be adjusted to reflect the
FEMA funds. The official Certificate of Resources filed with the County Auditor’s office will be
amended to reflect these changes also.

It was moved by Mrs. Young, seconded by Mr. Blair, that the Board approves the amendment
of the 2005 Appropriation Resolution R-2004-011 from $31,871,528 to $31,924,930 as follows:

Fund Name Account Increase

Fund 54 FEMA
Salaries 54-01-5011 $12,751

OPERS 54-01-5021 $1,784

Workers Comp 54-01-5031 $458

Supplies 54-01-5051 $38,238

Medicare 54-01-5081 $171

TOTAL $53,402

Vote on Motion: Young, aye; Blair, aye; Snyder, aye. M2005-177

Minutes Amendment

Debbie Swigart contacted the Clerk’s Office after seeing the minutes of the February 7, 2005,
meeting. She noted that in several places, under Citizen’s Concerns, we had identified
someone else as being the speaker instead of herself. After listening to the tape, it was noted
that several different people were speaking back and forth and each time they spoke, they did
not identify themselves. It appeared that the same person was speaking, when, in fact, Ms.
Swigart had asked some of the questions.

05/16/05
1
