The Washington Township Board of Trustees met in Regular Session on April 20, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. at <br />the Washington Township Government Center, 8200 McEwen Road. President Snyder opened the meeting <br />and led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />MINUTES OF PRECEEDING MEETINGS <br />It was moved by Mrs. Young, seconded by Mr. Berry, that the Board approves the pre- meeting minutes <br />and the minutes of the Regular meeting held April 6, 2009. <br />Vote on Motion: Young, aye; Berry, aye; Snyder, aye. M2009 -147 <br />CENTERVILLE - WASHINGTON FOUNDATION PROCLAMATION <br />Judy Stang, vice president of the Board of Trustees of the Centerville- Washington Foundation, spoke about <br />the tenth anniversary of the foundation and passed out their annual report which describes their <br />accomplishments and highlights for last year. She expressed the Foundation's appreciation for the support <br />from the citizens of Washington Township and the Trustees. She was presented the following <br />proclamation. <br />Centerville - Washington Foundation <br />WHEREAS, the Centerville- Washington Foundation is celebrating its IO anniversary as a community <br />foundation; and <br />WHEREAS, the Foundation has grown to 11 funds in its Family of Funds, with more than 500 individual <br />contributors and assets of more than $1 million; and <br />WHEREAS, the Foundation's Discretionary Fund has 35 Charter Members, both corporate and <br />individual, and 28 Charitable Checking Accounts; and <br />WHEREAS, the Foundation has made grants to several community organizations over the years, in <br />keeping with its theme of "Helping People Help Our Community." <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Washington Township Board of Trustees, <br />Montgomery County, Ohio, that the Centerville- Washington Foundation be warmly congratulated on its <br />I O' anniversary and wished the best for both its continued growth and its service to the community. <br />Proclaimed this 20 day of April 2009. <br />It was moved by Mrs. Young, seconded by Mr. Berry, to approve the above proclamation. <br />Vote on Motion: Young, aye; Berry, aye; Snyder, aye. P2009 -007 <br />FISCAL OFFICER'S BUSINESS <br />Under State law, a state line item account cannot carry a negative balance.
