WORKSHOP <br />May 11, 2009 <br />7:00 P.M. <br />ATTENDANCE <br />ELECTED OFFICIALS: Lee Snyder, Joyce Young, Dale Berry & Tom Zobrist <br />STAFF: Jesse Lightle <br />I. Neighborhood Night <br />Jesse Lightle reported the evening went very well. She passed out a report on who spoke and their <br />item of concern. <br />II. Paddington Update <br />Jesse Lightle reported on the progress taking place on the storm water mitigation project in the <br />area of Paddington. <br />III. Health Insurance <br />The Township will continue to look into health insurance programs to improve its efficiency. <br />IV. Personnel Manual <br />The new personnel manual will be presented at the next Trustee meeting, Monday, May 18 It <br />will need to be approved by Home Rule Resolution. <br />V. Disaster Planning <br />Jesse Lightle reported on a joint meeting between the City of Centerville and Washington <br />Township on future problem handling in the event of another natural disaster, such as the one that <br />occurred last September. The distribution of public information was also discussed. <br />VI. Miscellaneous Communication <br />On Saturday, June 13 there will a concert in memory of Yukta Garg at Mason High School's <br />auditorium. This concert is being presented by the Yukta Garg Memorial Foundation and will <br />help considerably in raising the funds for completing a public playground next to the A -frame <br />shelter on the east side of the Washington Township Recreation Center to be built in her honor. <br />The Iron Horse opening is scheduled for Friday, May 15 at 3:30 p.m. <br />VII. Other <br />Joyce Young reported a large crack in the sidewalk on the east side of State Route 725. <br />Dale Berry reported on a plow problem on Seton Hill. <br />Joyce Young reported on excessive tree removal on Washington Church Road, north of Social <br />Row Road. This may have been the work of DP &L. <br />
