The Washington Township Board of Trustees met in Regular Session on May 2, 2005, at 7:30 <br />p.m. at the Washington Township Government Center, 8200 McEwen Road. President Snyder <br />led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />MINUTES OF PRECEEDING MEETINGS <br />It was moved by Mr. Blair, seconded by Mrs. Young, that the Board approves the minutes of <br />the Regular meeting held April 18, 2005, and the Workshop held April 25, 2005. <br />Vote on Motion: Blair, aye; Young, aye; Snyder, aye. M2005 -165 <br />CLERK'S BUSINESS <br />None. <br />CITIZEN CONCERNS <br />None. <br />PROCLAMATION: EAGLE SCOUT <br />Eric Diller, a member of Boy Scout Troop 516 in Centerville, Ohio, will be receiving the <br />prestigious Eagle Scout Award. Eric has served as a patrol leader, bugler, instructor, guide <br />and assistant senior patrol leader. He is also a member of the Order of the Arrow and has <br />been credited with numerous achievements. Eric is graduating in June with honors and has <br />been inducted into the National Honor Society. The Trustees recognized Eric for his high <br />standards and for the example he sets for others. <br />It was moved by Mrs. Young, seconded by Mr. Blair, that the Board adopts the following <br />proclamation recognizing the significant achievements of Eric Diller and for his receiving the <br />Eagle Scout Award from the Boy Scouts of America. <br />Eric Diller <br />WHEREAS, Eric Diller of Troop 516 in Centerville, Ohio, will be receiving his prestigious Eagle <br />Scout award from the Boy Scouts of America; and <br />WHEREAS, Eric has served as Patrol Leader, Bugler, Instructor, Guide, and Assistant Senior <br />Patrol Leader, is a member of the Order of the Arrow, has earned his Woodsman rank, has <br />backpacked at Philmont Scout Ranch, backpacked in Colorado, canoed the Boundary Waters; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Eric will be graduating with honors in June, has been inducted into the National <br />Honor Society, participated in: Science Olympiad, Muse Machine musicals, Symphonic <br />Orchestra, string quartet, Marching Band, Pep Band, is a member of the German Honor <br />Society; and <br />WHEREAS, for his Eagle project, Eric completed four separate projects for Fairmont <br />Presbyterian Church in Kettering, including a large puppet stage, a well for offerings, a large <br />wooden box to raise a big- screen TV, and four wooden benches. <br />05/02/05 <br />
