WORKSHOP <br />April 11, 2005 <br />7:00 P.M. <br />ATTENDANCE: <br />ELECTED OFFICIALS: Joyce Young, Terry Blair, and Tom Zobrist <br />STAFF: Gary Huff & Tom Toberen <br />ABSENT: Lee Snyder <br />I. Fire Station #44 <br />There was a review of new fire station #44. Everyone agreed that it has an excellent <br />design. <br />II. Road Repairs <br />The conditions of Paragon Road between Spring Valley and Social Row roads were <br />discussed. They are being considered for street repairs in the near future and an <br />engineering study will be done for recommendations for a permanent fix. <br />III. Potential Intersection Upgrade <br />The intersection of Spring Valley Road and Clyo Road was discussed for a possible <br />upgrade. A letter will be sent to County Engineer Joe Litvin. <br />IV. Centerville/Washington Township Foundation <br />A discussion was held on potential new member, Karen W. Borgert. <br />V. Rooks Road <br />A meeting that is to be held with Byron Firsdon, a developer, about the site distance on <br />Rooks Road was discussed. It was understood that Mr. Firsdon agreed to perform the <br />upgrade. <br />VI. Charles Simms <br />There was a discussion on the Opal Rheem property on Spring Valley over density <br />issues. <br />VII. Hithergreen <br />A discussion took place regarding the location of signs relative to the school bond issue. <br />VIII. Other <br />There was a discussion on improving Yankee. <br />There was also a discussion on the work being done on Paddington, which is nearing <br />completion. <br />
