WORKSHOP <br />March 14, 2005 <br />7:00 P.M. <br />ATTENDANCE: <br />ELECTED OFFICIALS: Lee Snyder, Joyce Young, Terry Blair & Tom Zobrist <br />STAFF: Gary Huff, Tom Toberen, Ken Parks, & Bob Surdyk <br />EMS Charges <br />A discussion was led by Glenn Goodpaster from HealthServe regarding the <br />advantages of billing for EMS. An explanation was given on how the system works <br />Fee structure is based on volume. Payments will be made directly to the Township <br />when a contract is in place. <br />Police Department <br />Patty Matheny introduced Dee Osterfield and gave a brief description of her duties. <br />Mrs. Osterfield gave her feelings on how she will do her job. <br />III. Munger Home <br />A general discussion took place on the Munger home and how it would be torn down. <br />IV. Storm Sewer on Garnett <br />There was a general discussion on how to repair the problem with the plastic pipe <br />that came to the surface. <br />V. Veterans Memorial <br />There was a general discussion on how to pay down the shortfall of the project. <br />VI. S.B. 18 <br />There was a discussion on how S.B. 18 affects the Township's ability to control <br />zoning as in the past. <br />ADJOURNMENT 9:40 P.M. <br />All formal actions of the Board of Trustees of Washington Township concerning and relating to <br />the adoption of resolutions and /or motions passed at this meeting were adopted in an open <br />meeting, and of any of its committees resulting in such formal action, were in meetings open to <br />the public, in compliance with the law, including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />President <br />Clerk <br />
