WORKSHOP <br />AP RI L 14, 2003 <br />3:00 P.M. <br />ATTENDANCE: <br />ELECTED OFFICIALS: Joyce Young, Terry Blair, Lee Snyder, & Jim Blakeney <br />STAFF: Gary Huff & Jackie Curl <br />I. Public Information <br />Jackie Curl presented an overview of public information goals and <br />strategies for April 2003 to March 2004. <br />II. Police Academy <br />The curriculum for the Citizen Police Academy was presented by <br />Deputy Bob Werling. <br />III. RAMP -up <br />Gary Huff requested $5,993.40 or $.20 per capita to fund RAMP -up <br />(Regional Alliance for Mobility Priorities). <br />IV. Property Station #44 <br />Gary Huff is to call concerning another bid. <br />V. Joint Meeting <br />Joint entities will be meeting on May 30tH <br />A meeting is scheduled for June 18th for the "Create the Vision" joint <br />project with the City of Centerville. <br />VI. Youth In Government Day <br />Youth In Government Day is scheduled to start at 8:00 a.m. on <br />Tuesday, April 29th. The activities will concern the upcoming Rec <br />Levy. <br />
