REGULAR MEETING/WORKSHOP February 10, 2003 3:00 P.M. ATTENDANCE: ELECTED OFFICIALS: Terry Blair, Lee Snyder, & Jim Blakeney STAFF: Gary Huff, Mike Barlow, Tom Toberen & Ken Parks ABSENT: Joyce Young I. Regular Meeting — Check Register The Washington Township Board of Trustees met in Regular Session on Monday, February 10, 2003, at 3:00 p.m. at the Washington Township Government Center, 8200 McEwen Road. This meeting was held prior to a scheduled workshop for the purpose of approving a check register. It was moved by Mr. Snyder, seconded by Mr. Blair, that the Board approves the Check Register dated February 10, 2003 in the amount of $91,727.58; said amount having been certified and appropriated. Vote on Motion: Snyder, aye; Blair, aye. M2003 -086 It was moved by Mr. Blair, seconded by Mr. Snyder, to end the regular meeting and go into the workshop session. Vote on Motion: Blair, aye; Snyder, aye. M2003 -087 II. Audit Update Mike Barlow led a discussion concerning the 2002 audit currently being performed by the Auditor of State's office. The audit report is to be delivered by March 31, 2003. III. Maintenance Senior Supervisor Eight individuals were interviewed for the Maintenance Senior Supervisor position. A job description and organizational charts for the Fire Department and Public Works were distributed. IV. Cost of St. Rt. 48 @ Nutt & Social Row Road A discussion took place regarding a traffic signal, widening of the road, and cost for a project to improve St. Rt. 48 at Nutt and Social Row roads. The estimated cost would be $60,000.00 for which Washington Township would be obligated to pay half. Washington Township's current budget is $11,000.00.
