The Washington Township Board of Trustees met in Regular Session on March 17, 2003, at 7:30 p.m. at the Washington Township Government Center, 8200 McEwen Road. Michael A. Barlow, acting clerk, was present due to the excused absence of Clerk James E. Blakeney. President Young led the Pledge of Allegiance. MINUTES OF PRECEEDING MEETINGS It was moved by Mr. Snyder, seconded by Mrs. Young, that the Board approves the minutes of the Regular meeting held March 3, 2003 and the Workshop meeting held on March 10, 2003. Vote on Motion: Snyder, aye; Young, aye; Blair, aye. M2003 -115 CLERK'S BUSINESS Check Register Approval The O.R.C. requires purchase orders that are created after the invoice date for goods and services to be certified by the clerk that a sufficient sum was appropriated and free of any encumbrances (Then and Now Purchase Orders). If the amount is greater than $1,000.00, the Board must authorize payment. It was moved by Mr. Blair, seconded by Mr. Snyder, that the Board approves the following Then and Now purchases for payment: Vendor PO# Amount Approved Monthly Vendor Genuine 33536 $1,128.62 Yes Boundtree 33546 $1,844.52 Yes Xpedx 33578 $1,277.63 No Vote on Motion: Blair, aye; Snyder, aye; Young, aye. M2003 -116 It was moved by Mr. Blair, seconded by Mr. Snyder, that the Board approves the Regular Check Register dated March 17, 2003, in the amount of $402,814.48; said amount having been certified and appropriated. M2003 -117 It was moved by Mr. Blair, seconded by Mr. Snyder, that the Board approves the Recreation Refund Check Register dated March 17, 2003, in the amount of $200.50; said amount having been certified and appropriated.
