The Washington Township Board of Trustees met in Regular Session on January 6, 2003, at 7:30 p.m. at the Washington Township Government Center, 8200 McEwen Road. President Snyder led the Pledge of Allegiance. MINUTES OF PRECEEDING MEETINGS It was moved by Mrs. Young, seconded by Mr. Blair, that the Board approves the minutes of the Regular meeting held December 16, 2002, and the Regular meeting held on December 30, 2002, as submitted. Vote on Motion: Young, aye; Blair, aye; Snyder, aye. M2003 -001 CLERK'S BUSINESS Check Register Approval It was moved by Mrs. Young, seconded by Mr. Snyder, that the Board approves the Regular Check Register dated January 6, 2003, in the amount of $$722,596.05; said amount having been certified and appropriated. Vote on Motion: Young, aye; Snyder, aye; Blair, aye. M2003 -002 It was moved by Mrs. Young, seconded by Mr. Snyder, that the Board approves the Recreation Refund Check Register dated January 6, 2003, in the amount of $192.22; said amount having been certified and appropriated. Vote on Motion: Young, aye; Snyder, aye; Blair, aye. M2003 -003 Contract Maintenance The Clerk's Office purchased a LaserFiche system in December of 2001. This system allows the Clerk's Office to electronically scan, store, and manage records. The yearly maintenance on the system expired on December 31, 2002. The Clerk's office has received three quotes for continuing the maintenance on the system. All three companies came in to make a presentation. At this time Staff feels it is in the best interest of Washington Township to obtain maintenance on the LaserFiche system with TKB. It was moved by Mrs. Young, seconded by Mr. Blair, that the Board approves the Township to contract with TKB Associates Inc., Westmont, Illinois, to provide maintenance on the LaserFiche Document Imaging System for the period January 1, 2003 through December 31, 2003, for the quoted amount of $4,090.00.
