ASHINGTON <br />1796 <br />WTOWNSH11 <br />Washington Township <br />8200 McEwen Road <br />Dayton, Ohio 45458 <br />937.433.0152 <br />FOR INFORMATION, CONTACT: <br />Mike Wanamaker, Public Works Director, 433-0151 <br />Jacqueline Curl, Public Information Manager, 433-0152 <br />Three Things to Know About the Curb Program: <br />• About 2.7 miles of curb work <br />• Partial replacement planned for 9 streets <br />• Complete replacement planned for all or parts of 4 streets <br />FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: <br />February 26, 2020 <br />Township Curb Rehabilitation Program to Focus on Residential <br />More than 14,400 feet of curb on 18 Washington Township streets -- equivalent to <br />about 2.7 miles -- will be replaced or repaired this year as part of the annual curb program, <br />according to Public Works Director Mike Wanamaker. <br />This year's program includes curb replacement on all or part of four streets located in <br />the Penbrooke and Oakcreek South plats: Kings Run Road, Burgundy Lane, Provincetown <br />Road from Kings Run to Eagle Creek Drive, and Yellowcreek Drive from Normandy Creek <br />Drive to Shadycreek Drive. <br />More than 3,000 feet of partial replacement work will take place on nine additional <br />streets in the Forest View, Normandy Green, Penbrooke and Yankee Street Estates plats. <br />Streets receiving partial replacement are: Estates Drive from Green Park Drive to the east <br />end, Estates Court, Waldheim Court, Southbrook Drive from Paragon Road to Green Park <br />Drive, Paragon from Alex -Bell Road to Southbrook, Norman Cross Court, Provincetown <br />Road from Yankee Street to Kings Run, Garrison Court, and Tarryton Road. Additional curb <br />work may be added as the program budget allows, Wanamaker said. <br />
