<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS MINUTES <br />January 12, 2009 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The Washington Township Board of Zoning Appeals met in regular session on January 12, 2009 <br />in the Conference Room of Washington Township Public Works Building. Members of the Board <br />present were Mrs. Mulligan, Mrs. Fish and Mr. Roberts (as alternate). Mrs. Fischer and Mr. <br />Schwartz were excused. <br /> <br />Call to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Mrs. Fish explained that there were 3 members present for the meeting and gave the applicant an <br />opportunity to wait to be heard before a full board. <br /> <br />Applicant, Debbie Wright, requested to proceed with the meeting. <br /> <br />Mrs. Fish explained the hearing format and voting procedure. <br /> <br />The Oath was administered by Mrs. Fish. <br /> <br /> <br />CASE A-1561 – McDonald’s Restaurant, 1570 Miamisburg-Centerville Road <br /> <br />Request is for a variance in the landscaping requirement of parking areas. The applicant requests <br />relief from two (2) required trees and planting them elsewhere on the lot located in a Business (B- <br />2) zoning district. <br /> <br />Andy Ehrhart, Zoning & GIS Manager, presented the case. <br /> <br />Applicant represented by Debbie Wright, 1570 Miamisburg-Centerville Road. Ms. Wright <br />addressed the board and indicated that they were not aware that the drive-thru for Long john <br />Silvers encroached onto their property. There is also an electricity service that runs only 18” <br />under the ground in the area of the island. With these 2 conditions it was not possible to put the <br />required trees in the island. <br /> <br /> <br />
