WORKSHOP <br />July 25, 2005 <br />7:00 P.M. <br />ATTENDANCE: <br />ELECTED OFFICIALS: Lee Snyder, Joyce Young, Terry Blair, & Tom Zobrist <br />STAFF: Gary Huff, Tom Toberen & Bob Surdyk <br />I. Saddle Creek <br />There was a discussion on the Saddle Creek development, including the assessment for <br />a new road through the project. An assessment per lot would cover the cost of the road. <br />II. T.I.F. or Jedd <br />There was an explanation as to how a "T.I.F." works in conjunction with a new <br />development and subsequent road improvements. There was also a discussion on how <br />a "JEDD" functions. <br />III. Street Improvement Program <br />An explanation was given on cost overruns with existing projects. <br />IV. Hithergreen <br />There was a discussion on the financing of a project, including the cost of equipment and <br />a remodel of the building. <br />V. Zoning Resolution Update <br />An evening meeting will be scheduled for August 24th or 25tH <br />VI. Homearama <br />Tickets were passed out. <br />VII. George C. Cooper Award Lunch <br />The lunch is scheduled for September 21St at 11:30 a. m. <br />VII. Vacation <br />Gary Huff will be on vacation the week of August 29tH <br />VII. NATAT <br />VII. Other <br />A report from the clerk's office each month was discussed. This report would include a <br />summary of cash in and cash out. <br />
